TheSportsTechnician.com was founded in May 2009. The business was the concept of Stuart Middlemiss. Stuart has over 20 years experience in the sports retail industry, holding key roles with most of the well known sports retailers in the UK and latterly with, which was then the biggest sports retailer in Europe. The mission of TheSportsTechnician.com is to provide a great sporting experience to the public. Not only by offering them the best sports performance products from the best Sports brands worldwide, but to educate the consumer on the technologies and benefits of those products. The Sports Brands invest huge sums of money in their products to enhance the end consumer’s performance. Every technology that is or has been developed has been done so to improve the athlete’s performance or to limit the chances of injury. Most of the benefits of these great technologies never reach that end consumer, that’s why The Sports Technician is here.
I have recently launched my E-Commerce web site. Having taken only 5 Months from the initial concept of setting up a business, to the launch of the working site is a major achievement in itself.
